I will not be
Inclined to
Decline myself
To that which
Is breathless.
I will not bow down
To a morsel of metal
Or a gemstone,
In fact I will
Place them
Under my feet,
So the idea
Will not seep
Into my mind
That an item
Is worth more
Than an entity.
Blood diamonds
And fools gold
Cost souls
And conceive
Only monsters
As cold as
They that are buried
In caves
Or shallow streams.
If you want
To believe in
Value based on
Rarity,
Look into a persons
Eyes
They are the only
To exist.
Stones do not
Bring wealth,
Gold does not
Offer wholeness.
Only humanity
Can feed
Humanity,
Nature is
Only to
Assist.
